COPE: 'Problems in Free State bigger than what Dukwana presented'
Updated | By Lulutho Mkosi
The Congress of the People (Cope) claims there is more corruption to be uncovered in the Free State provincial government.
This follows testimony by the former Free State Economic Development MEC, Mxolisi Dukwana, curing his second day at the State Capture Commission on Tuesday.
Dukwana first appeared at the commission in April 2019, where he claimed to have been offered a R2 million bribe from Tony Gupta in the presence of African National Congress (ANC) secretary-general Ace Magashule.
Yesterday, he accused ANC Secretary General Ace Magashule of looting 255 million rand from the Free State department of human settlements.
The project was supposed to remove asbestos from the roofs of 300-thousand homes, but that was allegedly never done.

"We fully support what Mr Dukwana what he is saying when it comes to Mr Magashule. You must know that Mxolisi Dukwana was a right-hand man."
"We agree when Mxolisi Dukwana when he was saying that Ace Magashule belongs in jail", adds Bloem
