Couple linked to Soweto child killings set to appear in court today

A woman (50) and her partner (39), who were arrested and charged for the murders of two Soweto boys, are set to appear before the Protea Magistrates Court on Friday morning.
Nqobizitha Zulu and Tshiamo Rabanye’s mutilated bodies were discovered in different locations after they were reported missing last Wednesday
One of the suspects is believed to be related to one of the slain boys.
A family member described how one of the boys’ nose, lips and parts of his genitalia were missing, sparking allegations these were muthi killings.
Speaking on the sidelines at a memorial service for the boys held in White City on Wednesday, traditonal healer Oscar SB condemned the heinous act, adding it could not be the work of authentic healers.
“There’s no way that a healer would be using people’s body parts. The craft that they are exercising is witchery. It’s got nothing to do with us. We are in the business of healing people.”
It’s expected more details of the suspect’s alleged relation to the victims, and the charges they face, will emerge when the pair appear in court on Friday.
