Court grants bail to two Hawks officers, traditional healer

Two Hawks officers and a traditional healer have been granted bail after a brief court appearance on Monday.
The trio were arrested on Friday on charges of theft, dealing in ammunition, defeating the ends of justice, illegal possession of ammunition and possession of suspected stolen property.
Hawks officer colonel Refiloe Mnisi was granted R3000 bail while captain Thandi Mooka was granted bail of R2000.
Both officers appeared in the Pretoria Central Magistrate’s Court.
The case was postponed to the 27 June for further investigation.
Traditional healer Nonhlanhla Elizabeth Chabalala, who appeared in the Pretoria North Magistrate’s Court, was granted bail of R1000.
She will be back in court on 12 July.
