Court postpones case against three accused in R400m cocaine bust
Updated | By Anastasi Mokgobu
The case against three men who were arrested for possession of a large amount of cocaine has been postponed to 15 August for formal bail application.

Ebrahim Kara, Meshack Mzungezi Ngobese, and Elias Radebe (42) appeared in the Athlone Magistrate's Court on Monday following their arrest by the Hawks on Thursday.
The Hawks seized cocaine with an estimated value of more than R400 million.
"Police are often accused of being reactive and clearly this is a demonstration that police are tightening crime prevention and are being proactive,” Police Minister Bheki Cele said outside court.
“The Western Cape police have really done great job in terms of removing over 600 kg of cocaine worth millions of rand before they could be sold on our streets. These drugs are often generators of crime and are most detrimental to our communities, especially to our youths.”
