Credible evidence at Zondo commission will lead to ‘serious action’, NPA vows
Updated | By Sinethemba Madolo
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) says it is keeping a close eye on revelations at the commission of inquiry into state capture.

Former Bosasa executive Angelo Agrizzi has named suspended deputy prosecutions boss Nomgcobo Jiba and suspended special director Lawrence Mrwebi as part of a trio allegedly paid off by the controversial company.
Agrizzi admitted that he has no physical evidence of cash handovers, but based his testimony on what former correctional services commissioner Linda Mti, who was also on the company's payroll, told him.

NPA's spokesperson Luvuyo Mfaku says they have noted the allegations made by Agrizzi on Thursday.
"Should there be any credible evidence that implicates NPA officials in nefarious activities, including corruptions or defeating the ends of justice, serious action will be taken."
Mfaku says no evidence brought forward will be discarded without a thorough investigation.
The testimony by Agrizzi comes amid reports that the NPA will withdraw corruption charges against Jiba.
However, Mfaku says he will only be able to comment on Friday when papers have been submitted to the relevant persons.
