Cyclist killed in Carletonville

A cyclist was killed in Carletonville, Gauteng, on Wednesday when he was hit by a car, paramedics said.
The man was in his 20s, ER24 spokeswoman Luyanda Majija said in a statement.
"The deceased was hit while he was attempting to cross Ada Street, the second-busiest main road in the area."
The man was declared dead at the scene. The driver was not injured but was taken to the Carletonville Hospital and treated for trauma.
