Four pupils in Daveyton have died in a collision between two vehicles on the N12 near the Putfontein road off-ramp.

The incident took place just before 8 a.m. on Monday.
Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services spokesperson William Ntladi says a bakkie and a car were involved in the crash.
He says five people remain in critical condition, with one woman still in the process of being extracted from the wreckage.
"One adult female patient is being rescued from the wreck by the usage of the jaws of life. She is now in a stable condition, though critical, She will be flown away from the scene to the nearest medical facility.
"Currently, the freeway is still blocked from the flow of traffic."
Ntladi urges motorists to use the Kingsway or Etwatwa offramp direction N12 Benoni as alternative routes.
"Onlookers are also causing traffic congestion. We urge motorists to please exercise caution as this may lead to another road accident."
