David Mabuza to be sworn in as MP

The African National Congress (ANC) Caucus in parliament has confirmed that ANC Deputy President, David Mabuza, is set to be sworn in as a Member of Parliament (MP) on Tuesday.
According to ANC Caucus spokesperson in Parliament, Nonceba Mhlalui, Mabuza will be sworn in Pretoria.
"We can confirm that the Deputy President of the ANC, Comrade DD Mabuza, will be sworn as a Member of Parliament today (Tuesday) in Pretoria.
"He will be sworn in as a member of parliament. Remember that it's only the President who, after elections, seizes to be a member of Parliament, but all other members remain, members of parliament," Mhlalui said.
Last week, Mabuza withdrew his swearing in, requesting the ANC to allow him to attend to a report by the ANC integrity Commission in which Mabuza is alleged to have prejudiced the integrity of the ruling party and bringing the organisation into disrepute.
Mabuza indicated that he would like to have an opportunity to address the Integrity Commission on these allegations.
It has been reported that he met members of the Commission on Friday evening.
The report is expected to be handed over to ANC leaders today.
