De Lille: GOOD ‘excited’ about prospects in its first local elections
Updated | By Martine van der Walt Ehlers
GOOD leader Patricia de Lille says the party is positive that it will see growth in the 2021 local government elections.

Founded in 2018, GOOD is contesting its first local government election this year.
De Lille, who is also the minister of public works, cast her vote in Cape Town on Monday morning.
"I think we have put out best foot forward," De Lille said.
"We have asked South Africans to lend us their vote just for five years and if we don't perform after five years they can vote us out.
"People should never give their vote aways - your vote is priceless.
"I think South Africans are looking for an alternative away from the old parties and certainly GOOD offers that alternative to the voters."
