DJ caught on camera hitting woman with spanner

Police minister Fikile Mbalula says: "This dog must rot in jail."
A South African house music DJ has been denied bail after he was seen in a video beating a woman.
In the video Khombela Nhleko, also known as DJ Khomza, can be seen hitting a woman with what looks like a spanner.

The woman is crouched over a steering wheel as the angered man proceeds to hit her in the face.

The suspect has appeared in the Tembisa Magistrate's Court where he's been denied bail.
Mbalula says: "Khombela's actions are shameful and disgusting. No one should act like that towards women or any person. We will continue to act harshly against those who abuse and dehumanise women and children who are the most vulnerable in our society. I condemn these callous actions in the strongest terms and believe the law will act as swiftly on Khombela."
