Dozens of roads closed due to flooding in Tshwane

The City of Tshwane has moved to close several roads due to flooding.
“Residents can be assured that the city is doing everything possible to ensure their safety during this period,” says mayoral spokesperson Omogolo Taunyane.
It’s unclear at this stage when the roads will be reopened.
The following roads will be closed:
- R101
- Paul Kruger subway
- Capital Park bridge
- West Ave - Supersport Park and Macro
- Lenchen North and South
- End and Rabie
- Nellmapius, Lyttleton
- Samrand
- Jean Ave
- Ruimte
- Apiesdoring
- Aletta / Louise
- Hennopspark
- Rooihuiskraal & Hendrik Verwoerd
- Mundt street – Waltloo
- Eerstefabrieke
- Mamelodi Bridge
- Bronkhorstspruit road
- R104
- Lanham street in Bronkhorstsrpruit to Kangala
