Duduzane Zuma gets another court postponement

Another court postponement for Duduzane Zuma

The case of culpable homocide against the son of former president Jacob Zuma has been postponed to August.

Zuma is expected to return to the Randburg Magistrate's Court on August 23.


He made a brief appearance in connection with a 2014  incident when his luxury car crashed into a taxi.


A female passenger, Phumzile Dube, died on the scene. 


Another woman died weeks later in hospital, but her death was ruled as a result of natural causes.

State prosecutor Yusuf Baba requested that the proceedings be postponed for the disclosure of the findings of the inquest into Dube's death.


Zuma's legal counsel, led by Advocate Mike Hellens, did not oppose the postponement.
