Durban cop killed in suspected drive-by shooting

Durban police are investigating the death of a local metro police officer during an alleged drive-by shooting on Monday afternoon.
The officer was gunned down on the R102, between Canelands and Verulam, north of Durban.
Metro police spokesperson Parboo Sewpersad says the officer suffered multiple wounds and died on the scene.
“The South African police were on scene until late last night with the forensic investigators to established what really happened on the scene.”
No arrests have been made.
