EFF distances itself from Vodacom trashing
Updated | By Sinethemba Madolo
The Economic Freedom Fighter (EFF)
in Limpopo has denied involvement in the trashing of a Vodacom store in
Polokwane.
Regional secretary, Jossey Buthane, says the party cannot take responsibility for the actions of a group at the Mall of North.
A group of people, wearing EFF regalia, trashed a Vodacom shop at the mall on Sunday.
They are unhappy after a picture of party leaders Julius Malema and Floyd Shivambu was shown at the Vodacom Journalist of the Year awards, captioned "abusers of democracy".

Buthane says just because people wear t-shirts from a particular party doesn't mean they are supporters or members.
"Are you telling me you never wear a t-shirt of Omo, then are you an Omo person?"
Earlier on Monday the DA laid charges against the EFF following the incident.
