EFF’s Vuyani Pambo hijacked, robbed
Economic Freedom Fighters MP Vuyani Pambo was hijacked on Monday evening, the party revealed in a statement on Tuesday.
The party said on Tuesday that Pambo was accosted by three masked men in Diepkloof.
EFF spokesperson Leigh-Ann Mathys says the men stole valuable documents and information.
"The armed men drove around with the vehicle, and fled with his belongings which include his passport, identity document, organisational material and other valuables.
"It is clear through the manner in which the operation was conducted, that it was premeditated, with the intention of intimidation and securing of certain valuable documents and information."
“The EFF calls on law enforcement agencies to increase their efforts of fighting crime and practice increased visibility,” added Mathys.
