Elderly woman found murdered at Limpopo farm

An elderly woman was murdered on a farm near Haenertsburg, Limpopo on Monday, police said.
She was discovered by a domestic worker, reporting for duty on Monday. Preliminary information show that the woman, who stayed alone, was attacked by unknown suspects while watching television on Sunday night, her hands were tied behind her back and mouth closed with sellotape,” said police spokeswoman Colonel Ronel Otto.
“Her body was found under a mattress in one of the rooms.”
Otto said two cellphones and an Isuzu bakkie were stolen.
Nobody has been arrested in connection with the killing so far.
