Eskom eases load shedding to stage 2
Eskom has announced reduced load shedding to stage 2 from 5 am until 4 pm on Sunday.
Eskom spokesperson Daphne Mokoena says the decision follows the recovery of emergency reserves overnight and the potential return of two generating units by Sunday.
The power utility has outlined the schedule for load shedding, with stage 3 load shedding to be implemented from 4 pm on Sunday until 5 am on Monday.
“Eskom will provide an update of the outlook for the week ahead on Sunday, or as soon as any significant changes occur,” Mokwena said.
