Affected areas include Hurlingham, Parkmore, Sandton City, Sandown, Sandhurst, Atholl, Benmore, Muldersdrift, Parkmore, Linbro Park and Pimville.

Power utility Eskom says technicians are responding to power cuts affecting customers across Gauteng as a result of multiple network faults.
Some workers have been on a go-slow over labour disputes affecting several areas in Johannesburg including Hurlingham, Parkmore, Sandton City, Sandown, Sandhurst, Atholl, Benmore, Muldersdrift, Parkmore, Linbro Park and Pimville in Soweto.
Eskom says it has reached an agreement with the trade unions representing workers and the labour matters were resolved with the agreement that technicians will resume with operations.
Eskom Gauteng Senior Manager for Customer Services Daphne Mokwena says they are restoring supply to affected areas but turnaround time maybe longer than normal.
“We would like to apologise to our customers for the inconvenience this has caused and appeal for patience as we work on restoring supply to all affected customers.
“We can assure you that our priority is to ensure that supply is restored as speedily as possible with the focus on the customers that have been without supply for a prolonged period.”
