Eskom to implement stage 6 load shedding into December

Embattled power utility Eskom says stage 6 load shedding will be implemented on Tuesday from 8pm until 5am.
There after Stage 4 loadshedding from will kick in from 5am to 8pm until further notice.
The pattern is expected to last until Saturday.
This after the utility on Monday announced the implementation of stage 4 load shedding from 2pm until 5am on Saturday morning.
The latest implementation of stage 6 rolling blackouts comes a week later after the power utility made an unexpected return to stage 6.
Utility spokesperson Daphne Mokwena says this is done for the utility to replenish emergency reserves.
"Unplanned outages increased by 401 MW to 15 825MW, whilst planned maintenance increased by 555 MW to 6 835MW of generation capacity. 1300 MW of generation capacity was returned to service in the last 24 hours."
