Eskom: No loadshedding this morning
The power system is stable on Tuesday morning, enabling Eskom to perform maintenance without implementing loadshedding.
“However, as a result of increased electricity demand in the evening and power stations’ units being on maintenance, the power system is expected to be constrained during the evening peak period (5pm – 9pm),” the power utility said in a statement.
“As we are currently experiencing cold weather conditions across the country, we urge electricity users to consider energy efficient ways of keeping warm.”
Eskom said the electricity demand peaked from 6am to 10am and from 5pm to 9pm.-ANA
