Family, friends say more illegal miners remain trapped
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
Family and friends on Tuesday insisted there were still two bodies underground at a disused mine shaft in Langlaagte in Johannesburg.
Johannesburg Emergency workers suspended their search on Tuesday morning, saying it's unlikely that any more people were trapped underground.
The body of a sixth illegal miner was brought to the surface by rescue workers on Monday evening, hours after another was found alive.
Family and friends remained at the entrance to the old mine shaft, despite the search being suspended.
