Father of ‘kidnapper teacher’: I’m glad Amy'Leigh is safe

The father of a teacher linked to the kidnapping of Amy’Leigh de Jager says he is happy the 6-year-old girl is safe and alive.
Riaan Botha attended proceedings at the Vanderbijlpark Magistrates Court on Monday, together with other family members and friends, in support of his daughter Katerina Human.
Human is one of three suspects who appeared in court on Monday.

"My redeemer lives, my child's alive and the kidnapped child is alive and well at home. We just trust and believe into the future," Botha told reporters outside court.
Botha said things at home are tense but the family is supporting one another.
Human and two other suspects, Pieter Van Zyl and Leticia Nell, will be back in court on September 19 for a formal bail application.
