Female cop shot at roadblock
A female Johannesburg metro police officer is in a serious
condition in Milpark Hospital after being shot at a roadblock on Wednesday.
The occupants of a white BMW opened fire at the officers in Braamfontein.
Metro police spokesperson Wayne Minnaar says the police have chase after the driver of the vehicle failed to stop at another roadblock in Doornfontein.
"The female officer got shot as officers attempted to stop the BMW," says Minnaar.
Police have launched a manhunt for the suspects.
