"We cannot confirm the number, we think anything between the number five and ten."
Officers on duty during the attack are receiving trauma counselling.
"The officers were on duty when the attack happened. They were there, also involved."
According to Tonjeni, some of the officers were transported to a different location, where they were killed.
"They stormed into the police station and guns pointed at our members. Took some of them into one vehicle. They started shooting. One was shot in the vehicle, and two others were taken to a different destination."
Shocked and outraged by the reported killings of 5 police officers at eNgcobo in Eastern Cape. The killing of our law enforcement officers robs us of dedicated servants of our people whose only sin was to serve and protect.
