Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
A foetus has been found next to a dustbin in Kempton Park.
Paramedics say the foetus had been found wrapped in newspaper.
ER24's spokesperson Russel Meiring says paramedics were called to the scene shortly after 11:00 on Friday.
"Upon arrival, paramedics found the body of the foetus, a girl, lying next to a dustbin wrapped in a roll of newspaper. Unfortunately, nothing could be done by paramedics and she was declared dead," he says.
It is understood that the body was found by a cleaner as she was emptying the dustbins.
Police are investigating.
