Members of the foundation also plan to submit a memorandum to the American Embassy and Ingersoll Rand against what they believe is racist practices by some of the American companies operating in South Africa.

The foundation’s convener, Tshamunwe Herry Masindi, says they are disappointed by the lack of transformation at some American companies.

“As you might be aware, the entire world is currently fighting the issue of racism and discrimination. Our country, South Africa, finds it’s self in a peculiar position having fought discrimination and racism over the past decades.

“Make it happen Foundation through a whistle blower received information of racism and discrimination practice by Ingersoll Rand Company that is an American company.

“We requested a meeting with Ingersoll Rand to discuss the same alleged allegations internally. Our request was declined,”says Masindi.

He says through their own investigation, it was found that Ingersoll Rand Company practices discrimination, racism, anti-transformation and “undermines the laws and regulations of our country.”

“Make It Happen Foundation demands the following: Forensic Investigation to investigate the allegations of racism, discrimination, non-compliance of the BBBEE, non-compliance of the laws and regulations of the country, non-compliance of Ingersoll Rand code of conduct, allegations of corruption, allegations of money laundering and allegations of unequal treatment,”adds Masindi.
