Four-year-old shot dead in Hanover Park
A four-year-old boy was shot dead in Hanover Park on Wednesday night, police said on Thursday.
Western Cape police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Andrè Traut said that the shooting occurred at around 19h11 in Mentz Court, Hanover Park.
“According to reports a four-year-old boy was fatally shot,” said Traut. No arrests have yet been made but a case of murder has been opened and is under investigation.
