Free Gautrain rides to welcome Banyana Banyana back home

The free rides will be between 8:30am and 10am at Sandton, Midrand, Pretoria Johannesburg Park stations.

Spokesperson Kesagee Nayager says passengers will receive a wristband at one of these selected stations and must wear South African sports jersey colors or carry a SA flag.

The girls beat host nation Morocco 2-1 in a nail-biting encounter in the final of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday night.

Their flight is expected to touch down at 9:30 in Johanesburg on Tuesday morning.
