Gautrain has confirmed that its train and bus services will be fully restored by Wednesday.
This comes after the two-week long strike action by employees of the United National Transport Union (UNTU) came to an end on Monday.
"The full Gautrain service will resume on Wednesday 15 August, once the operational schedule has been updated,” says Gautrain spokesperson Kasagee Naayger.

Gauteng Transport MEC Ismail Vadi has also welcomed the end of the industrial action.
“The Gauteng provincial government welcomes the agreement and hopes the situation soon normalizes,” he says.
