Gathering ahead of tomorrow's Wits assembly
Updated | By Slindelo Masikane
Students, workers and academics have gathered at Solomon Mahlangu House on the Wits main campus in Braamfontein on Thursday.

Students and workers, who have joined the movement for free higher education in solidarity, occupied the medical school in Parktown this morning.
They bussed their way to the main campus where a meeting will be taking place ahead of the general assembly tomorrow.
A leaked memorandum which has been circulating on social media indicates that Wits management intends to pledge its support to the students' fight for free education.
Regular protests have been held on the campus grounds - with groups of students supporting and opposing the view that classes should start.
