Gautrain bus drivers in Midrand cause delays
Updated | By sibahle motha
"Buses did not go out on time," said spokesperson Ian Findley.
"They [the drivers] wouldn't take the buses out on time but they have taken them out now," he said at around 07:00.
Most routes were operating normally. The Sandton, Midrand and Rhodesfield stations were affected.
"But they should be returning to normal soon."
The reason for the go-slow was not known.
Wage talks were currently under way at the national bargaining council, he added.
"We are still trying to contact the union," said Findley.
The National Union of Metalworkers of SA (Numsa) was not immediately reachable for comment.
