Getaway vehicles used in Riverside mall heist recovered

Police in Mpumalanga have recovered two vehicles believed to have been used as getaway cars following Monday afternoon's heist at Riverside Mall in Mbombela.
"Two of the getaway vehicles of the armed robbers were recovered about 1.5 kilometres from where the crime took place," says police spokesperson Dawie Pretorius.
It is believed that 12 suspects were involved in the robbery at Arthur Kaplan and Browns Jewellers. The incidents took place just before closing time in the shopping centre.

Pretorius says no arrests have been made.
"Two security guards were injured during the armed robbery," says Pretorius.
This is the second mall robbery in Mbombela in less than a week.
Eight suspects held up the iStore in i'Langa Mall on Friday.
