Kempton Park residents have spoken of their growing frustration amid an almost week-long blackout in parts of the town.
Several suburbs in Kempton Park were hit with a massive power outage over the weekend after an explosion at the Glen Marais substation.
The city initially said all power would be restored by Tuesday, but some residents are still in the dark.

Kempton Park resident Louis Rossouw says the power outage has made life difficult, especially for the elderly.
He adds that the City of Ekurhuleni should “pull up its socks: and quickly restore power."
The city believes all power will be restored by Thursday evening.
Head of Energy in Ekurhuleni, Mark Wilson, says some areas have a little bit of load per given time.
