Hawks investigating shooting of former ANCYL leader
The Hawks are investigating the shooting of three ANC councillors in the Umzimkhulu area in KwaZulu-Natal.
According to reports, one of the victims is former ANC Youth League Secretary General Sindiso Magaqa.
Magaqa is also an EXCO member in the Umzimkhulu Local Municipality.
Hawks spokesperson Hangwani Mulaudzi says two of the victims are still in hospital.
"Three people were ambushed and two are still in hospital. One has gone home."
Mulaudzi says they still need to interview the two victims who are in hospital.
