Heinz Winckler apologises after comments about farm murders
Updated | By Laila Majiet
South African singer Heinz Winckler has again taken to Facebook to share his comments about murders on farms.
In a live Facebook video last Thursday, Winckler raised pertinent questions about farm murders.
Winckler's comments got a large number of South Africans riled up.
He said wearing black would not solve the problem and that farm murders is not about race.
"It is not a race thing. We are making it a race thing. That is not the way we are going to get a better nation."
Winckler has since posted a new video apologising for any offense which his video might have caused.
Thousands of South Africans - who sympathise with the plight of farmers - are wearing black on Monday.
