The bail application of one of the accused in the Hillary Gardee murder case has been postponed.
Sipho Mkhatshwa, Philemon Lukhele and Albert Gama all appeared in the Nelspruit Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) provincial spokesperson, Monica Nyuswa, says a third magistrate will be presiding over the matter when the accused are back in court on Monday.
“The bail hearing in respect of accused number one, Sipho Mkhatshwa will continue Monday 25 July. The matter was postponed to 22 August for the indictment to be served on the accused.
“Accused number two and three will apply for bail on 27 July.”
The three suspects told the court they planned to plead not guilty to all the charges against them.
All three accused will remain behind bars.
