Police in Gauteng have made another grisly discovery linked to a murder investigation that sent shockwaves across the country this week.
This after human body parts were discovered in a fridge at a home in Protea Glen in Soweto.
According to law enforcement, the suspect's partner discovered the body parts after he left to go to the shops.
A 26-year-old man, Flavio Hlabangwane, has since been arrested and appeared in court on Monday on a charge of murder.
On Tuesday, a human skull was also found in a shallow grave on Westernaria Road near Glen Ridge.
Provincial police spokesperson Brenda Muridili says the skull is believed to be linked to the 23-year-old victim found in the Protea Glen house.
While DNA tests are still being conducted, the victim is believed to be from Soshanguve.
