The suspects include the husband of one of the slain Gauteng-based women.

The two victims, 46-year-old Makoena Mabusela-Leshabane and Tebogo Mphuti (35) were shot and killed in execution-style while they were viewing property in the suburb of Magnavia.

The suspects, aged between 25 and 56, were arrested in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Limpopo police spokesperson Motlafela Mojapelo says a vehicle believed to have been used in the murders, as well as two firearms, two magazines and thirteen live rounds of ammunition were seized.

"The suspects will, in addition to two counts of murder, also be charged with possession of illegal firearms and ammunition.”

The husband was arrested while he was busy receiving treatment in hospital after he allegedly attempted to commit suicide.

The suspects will appear in Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
