Husband of slain KZN pastor goes missing amid murder probe
The husband of the slain KwaZulu-Natal pastor Liezel de Jager has gone missing.
KwaZuku-Natal police confirmed the man was last seen by family on Saturday morning.
Provincial police spokesperson Thembeka Mbele says a missing persons' report was logged for Werner De Jager at the Brighton Beach police station on Sunday.
Werner's disappearance comes amid investigations into Liezel's murder.
According to several media reports, the NG Kerk Suidkus minister was killed earlier this month.
It's understood her lifeless body was discovered by her Werner in Amanzimtoti in the south coast with strangulation marks on her neck.
Investigations are continuing.
