If I step down, I will be interfering with farm probe - Ramaphosa

President Cyril Ramaphosa says there is no reaso for him to step down amid the investigation into the theft of money from his Limpopo farm.
Ramaphosa spoke to reporters in Cape Town on Friday after addressing Parliament.
There have been growing calls for the president to step aside pending an investigation into allegations of the kidnapping and bribery of suspects following the theft of a large amount of foreign currency at his game farm in Limpopo.
"If would step aside there could be a suspicion that I would interfere with the law enforcement agencies, and we want the police to investigate whatever crime without fear or favour and if I were to it would be demeaning to those officials who work in those structures.
"Because they will not be able to do their work on an independent basis and it destroys their own confidence because they will forever be fearing may not follow investigations properly because someone [Ramaphosa] is involved."
Earlier on, MPs from the Economic Freedom Fighters were violently removed from Parliament after refusing to allow Ramaphosa to address the National Assembly.
