Implats boss granted bail for ‘breaking lockdown rules’

The CEO of Impala Platinum Mine's Rustenburg operations Mark Munroe was granted R60 000 bail by the Tlhabane Magistrate’s Court on Friday morning.
Munroe was arrested in connection with the contravention of the country’s lockdown regulations.
He allegedly called employees, including those considered non-essential, back to work after the Easter weekend.

National police spokesperson Vish Naidoo says Munroe will be back in court later in the year.
"He (Munroe) is released on R60 000 bail and his case is postponed to 4 August.”
