'It is a game of politics,' says Malema
Updated | By Nathan Daniels
Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema says their loyalty lies with no political party or person, but is central around the implementation of land expropriation without compensation.
Malema addressed a rally in Port Elizabeth on Wednesday evening, ahead of Thursday's motion of no confidence against DA Mayor Athol Trollip.
The motion against Trollip follows the decision by the Democratic Alliance not to support the resolution to have the property clause in the Constitution amended.
It led to the bitter leadership feud in the Eastern Cape municipality with opposition parties not sharing the same sentiment about the land issue.
"We are going to attack to remove Trollip, if we fail we will come back again until we collapse him and teach him a lesson," Malema vowed.

The DA-led coalition's fragile state gained support after Patriotic Alliance councillor Marlon Daniels said the party will vote against the motion.
Daniels dubbed Malema a racist and a dictator.
However, a fired up Malema told his supporters it's all part of politics.
"This is not a straight road, this (sic) are politics. There is no reference to Matthew Chapter 14 here, there is no formula here, you ought to know the game, you ought to manoeuvre the game as long as you remain true to expropriation of land without compensation," Malema told supporters.
