Malema will not return to ANC
Updated | By Nathan Daniels
Several African National Congress (ANC) officials have indicated their desire to see Economic Freedom Fighter (EFF) leader, Julius Malema to return to the governing party.
ANC stalwart Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, President Cyril Ramaphosa and deputy president David Mabuza want Julius Malema back in the fold.
Malema has indicated on Twitter that he will not return to the governing party.
I won’t do it, that thing is dead. Worse they now have two presidents, one for ANC of Natal called Zupta and Ramapostponer for the rest and now I must go and join the confusion, never.

Ramaphosa was out and about as part of the IEC registration weekend, and told the media he had no problem welcoming back Malema.
"The EFF members we would want to welcome them back and in fact I would be able to say we would love to have Julius Malema back in the ANC, he is still ANC down deep in his heart."
Malema was fired from the ANC in 2012 by the governing party's national disciplinary committee for sowing divisions in party ranks for his criticism against then president Jacob Zuma.
He was found guilty of bringing the party into disrepute and was suspended from the ANC for five years, alongside Floyd Shivambu.

Deputy president, David Mabuza said in Mamelodi on Sunday he believed the ANC will be stronger with Malema back in their ranks.
"The ANC has lost in comrade Julius. The ANC will be better off with him inside the vote, so I am going to do my best to request him to reconsider coming back home."
