JHB taxi driver jailed for 18 years

A taxi driver was jailed for 18 years by the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court for shooting and killing a pedestrian, Gauteng police said on Thursday.

Zakhele Sticks Ndlovu, 33, was sentenced on Wednesday, Warrant Officer Xoli Mbele said.
"He was also declared unfit to possess a firearm and his licensed firearm was forfeited to the State."
In August, Ndlovu shot and killed Bongane Christopher Sibeko at the corner of Bree and Delvers streets in central Johannesburg after an argument.
