JMPD clears Sandton roads

The metro police in Johannesburg reopened all routes affected by a march by the #AlexShutdown movement in Sandton on Wednesday.
Several residents of Alexandra marched to the city's offices in Sandton to hand over a memorandum to city representatives.

"All of the roads in Sandton are cleared. The Grayston Bridge is clear so there is no obstruction to any of the roads in Sandton," says the metro police’s Wayne Minnaar.
Minnaar confirmed there had been no damage to property during the march.
