Motorists in Johannesburg have been warned of possible delays in the CBD due to a march by the South African Municipal Workers Union (Samwu) and the State of the City Address.
Both will affect the flow of traffic in and around the Johannesburg CBD on Thursday morning.
Johannesburg Mayor Mpho Phalatsi is expected to deliver her maiden State of the City Address in council.
Metro police spokesperson Xolani Fihla says streets near Civic Boulevard in Braamfontein will be affected by a parade ahead of the address.
"The affected routes will be Harrison and Jorissen Street. Rissik and De Korte Street and Civic Boulevard and Hoofd Street.

"Jorissen will be closed off to traffic between Biccard and Civic Boulevard from 8-9 am this morning for the procession of the motorcade. Traffic congestion can be expected."
Meanwhile, Samwu members are expected to make their way to the metro centre in Braamfontein.
Fihla says the metro police expects at least 2000 marchers to head to the city centre to hand over their list of demands.
Samwu members will head to Braamfontein from the Johannesburg CBD at 10:00.
