Joburg nurse who sold fake Covid certificates granted bail

Skhumbuzo Manana, a nurse stationed at the Parkhurst Clinic in Johannesburg, has been granted R3000 bail by the Booysens Magistrate’s Court.
Manana was arrested on Saturday for selling fake Covid-19 negative test certificates to travelers for R500.
He made a first court appearance on Monday.
The 28-year-old faces charges of contravention of the medicines and related activities act fraud and possession of suspected stolen goods.
He was ordered to submit all his traveling documents to the state.
The case has been postponed to September for further investigation.
