Joe Mafela to be laid to rest

Legendary South African actor Joe Mafela, who died after a car accident earlier this month, will be laid to rest on Wednesday.
Family members and mourners will gather at the University of Johannesburg's Soweto campus to say farewell to the legend, who died at the age of 74.
Joe Mafela was honoured at a memorial service at the Joburg Theatre last week.
Mafela died in a car crash on the M1 north, just before Oxford Road in Johannesburg with his niece that confirmed the sad news.

Mafela was born in Sibasa, Limpopo and raised in Soweto.
He made his acting debut in 1964.
Mafela has been a household name for decades - appearing on our TV screens in productions such as Sgudi Snaysi, Madam and Eve, Fela's TV and more recently, Generations
