Johannesburg roads flooded due to heavy downpour
Several roads in Johannesburg are
flooded due to heavy rains.
Train services have also been halted amid the downpour.
The Johannesburg Metro PoliceDepartment has confirmed that the Old Vereeniging Road and the R55 are flooded.
Motorists have been advised to use alternative routes, including Kliprivier and Swartkoppies roads.
Scores of people have taken to social media to advise fellow motorists to avoid these roads.
