Klarinet mother convicted of killing 4 children
Zinhle Maditla was convicted of premeditated murder for poisoning her four children with rat poison.
The Mpumalanga mother appeared at the Middelburg High Court on Monday.
Maditla pleaded guilty to four charges.
The 24-year-old was accused of poisoning 8-year-old Minenhle, 6-year-old Blessing, 4-year-old Shanique and 11-month-old baby Ettiene on New Year’s Eve.

Maditla, who subsequently went out with one of her neighbours, then wrapped her children in blankets before calling family members to view the bodies.
Spokesperson for the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) in Mpumalanga, Monica Nyuswa, says the matter was postponed to Tuesda for arguments on sentencing..
"A woman accused of murdering her four children and locking them in her rented room in Klarinet, Witbank today where she pleaded guilty and the matter is now postponed for tomorrow for arguments on sentence."
